2 periods in one month? less than a week apart!?
So I started birth control 3 weeks ago. I was originally going to be on nexplanon but because I found out I have adenomyosis, my dr put me on a progestin only pill (since I'm breastfeeding) to help stop my extra bleeding that it causes.. (while postpartum I bleed for 12 weeks and then had a d&c with hyteroscopy and that's when they found the adenomyosis)
I finally had my first postpartum period from sept. 28th to oct 2nd.. (during our entire trip to disneyworld 🙄🙄) the following 2 days I spotted brown and I was like "cool my periods over".. on the 6th I started spotting pink again and then yesterday I started full on bleeding again, it's so heavy and painful that I feel like I'm having another period..
Is this normal with birth control? *i did message my dr about all this I'm just waiting on a response and wanted to know if anyone else had this problem.
I'm on norethidrone birth control. The main reason I'm on it (aside from preventing pregnancy) is to stop the bleeding.. it's so frustrating 😔
