Anti Anxiety Medication and Birth Control

I have always had anxiety but recent health issues have amped it into over drive. Anytime I feel my body reacting I immediately have extreme anxiety that sometimes leads to attacks. This being said I'm currently on a SSRI. But I really want to go on BC because always worrying about becoming pregnant gives me anxiety as well (we always use condoms, but it's just my nature to worry). My question is can you go on BC if you're on a SSRI? Are their certain ones you can't take? What questions should I ask my doctor when I go in for a check up? Any help would be appreciated 😊
