Naturally, being pregnant I'm prone to some pretty awful symptoms like morning sickness. Mine varies from terrible to manageable. Today it's a manageable day! I picked up some overtime at work to make up for some time I've missed and that my husband has missed. He has had a stomach bug for the last two days so he's just been resting which I really don't mind.

I work from home doing chat work. In the grand scheme of things, it's an easy job. I've been sitting here for 8 hours already, with 3 hours still left to go on my shift. I take three chats at a time, so that's three different conversations going. 

At this time, I was having three rotten chats. Two hard issues and one customer who was just an angry douche. My husband came in to talk to me about bills. He has been sick like I said so he's just trying to get back on top of things. Even though I was swamped, I tried to keep a conversation going with him. He has this really loud, huge fan that he turned on but he ended up leaving the room. He's in the living room with his parents and turns on their TV VERY loud, and then on top of that they're all shouting to be heard over the TV. I figured he wasn't coming back in so I turned off the fan and closed the door to quiet it down a bit.

He comes back in and says "I noticed you closed the door." I told him, yes I was just trying to focus on work. He immediately gets after me about shutting off his fan, too. I told him I thought he wasn't coming back in and that I could use a minute to think. He gets nasty and says "Well this is what a day shift is and I work in here too so how can you expect to have no noise?" I never said I expected no noise, I just needed a minute. The he gets on me about "I just threw out my back and CRAWLED in here to check on you." Trying I avoid a fight, I asked him if he needed a heat pad. We have three but two just broke. He fires back "What fucking heat pad?!" 

All I've been doing is trying to work so we have money for our bills. I feel like his anger was completely irrational and like I wasn't in the wrong at all. What would you all have done?
