I know many women have fibroids but after three days of severe abdominal pain i found out that I have a rare condition called red degeneration fibroid in which the fibroid outgrows it blood supply and basically dies. The only great news out of this is that my baby is doing great and I'm willing to deal with some pain in order for him to be okay. Women please dont ignore your signs and symptoms and dont let your doctor tell you how your feeling. It took them 3 days and after 2 doctors to find out what was wrong.
