Has anyone experienced vaginal prolapse after childbirth?

I think I may be experiencing this, but need to talk to my OBGYN on Wednesday when I go in for my 6 week checkup. No pain, there is a bulge and peeing feels different. Have any of you ladies experienced prolapse after you've had your kids? I have a 4 year old and a 6 week old and I'm only 29. I'm nervous!!!!

Update - they said my bladders dropped slightly. No mention of prolapse necessarily. Put me on antibiotics to eliminate the possibility of infection and wants me to do kegels and come back next week! He said my delivery was so recent that it's too soon to worry about anything. Keeping my hopes up that my body will do what it's supposed to and pull it back up!

Yep, I was only 25 when I had it!! I have bladder, uterus and vagina wall prolapse. I'm on the waiting list now for my surgery, after baby 3. You have to wait until your family is complete before you get the surgery, as another pregnancy / labour will cause it again

Has anybody has sex with a prolapse? I'm 56 days post partum and got the OK from my doctor for it but petrified. Wonder if there's any tips or tricks to make it a less frightening experience

I have a stage 3 uterine prolapse.  Had a compound birth and all my tearing and damage was done internally, causing the prolapse. I'm doing kegals in the meantime. My ObGyn said it can take upto 6 months for it to fix itself. I go back in a month and if it's not improved, then I get fitted for a pessary. I'm hoping to avoid needing hormone replacement therapy for it.

i had a c-section and was diagnosed with pelvic floor muscle damage at my 6 weeks check up. luckily, it's not a prolapse, but the doctors told me to take it seriously. 
i have been going to electrotherapy and internal massages for 3 weeks now, and i still can't control the muscles completely. 
i suggest you go for an in depth pelvic floor check up, they will test your muscles and their strength and you can start your therapy from there.

Same boat. Did go to my Obgyn, and since I am only 4 w pp she said we should wait and see if it resolves on its own, but I am reaaaalllllyyyy scared it won't and I've no clue how will I go back to having normal sex live let alone another pregnancy

I've done some research into it, and it seems to me that it is best to do it with a physiotherapist, at least once in order to learn how to do it properly. I tried it out on my own and the feeling of the perineum lifting itself is much stronger than with kegels.
