Tubes Tied

I had my tubes tied 3 years ago. Lately over the last few months, it seems like my period is later and later. I use to be 28 days like clockwork. Now today I'm day 42 and no sign of AF anywhere. Is this normal? Should I be worried? When I finally do it my period, it's extremely heavy. To the point that that I fill a pad in less than an hour for like the first 3 days. Anyone ever had this happen after tying your tubes?
