Moisturizers/makeup safety??

Are there certain products that are unsafe during pregnancy?? I use a face cream and body lotion  every morning along with face makeup...

In my opinion: Pregnant or not I avoid parabens, sodium laurel/laureth sulfate, fragrances, flauride and pretty much all conventional makeup-- especially lipstick (bc it is known to have lead and mercury in it). Makeup is not closely regulated and companies dont have to list all of the ingredients which makes me hesitant. I do know that as a pregnant woman hair dye is very unsafe to use I don't is recommended that a Woman who is pregnant waits to die your hair until after she is done breast-feeding. There are hair dyes like Hemna and other products that have no chemicals or little to no chemicals. The make up I choose to use is all natural or the closest I can find to all natural. I use 100% pure make up product. You can buy them at Duane Reade pharmacy that is in the northeast area of the United States or you can buy them on Amazon ? happy holidays ❤️

Wow this sounds like we are living back in the stone ages?!  I think the only thing you should be careful about is getting others advice.  I have known plenty of women giving birth to perfectly normal babies and they got their hair colored and wore mayballine make up through out their whole pregnencies, products has came a long ways if it says on the label consult a dr if nursing or pregnant then that's the only time I would question it. ?

I don't think so, but I use only hypoallergenic makeup such as neutrogenia and bare minerals because it doesn't have parabens or fragrances, those two things age your skin and are unhealthy

Acne treatments like benzoyl peroxide are not safe. Your going to hear a lot of untruthful information if you only get it off google though so ask your doctor.

Check with your doctor but yes. I'm not sure what kinds though. I would try to stay away from the ones that have a lot of chemicals and go for more natural products instead of man made ones that have a lot of chemicals in them . Talk with your doctor to be sure which are harmful and which arnt
