Breastfeeding mamas!

How long does baby feed on each side? My son is 6 weeks old and has just started to only last 8 minutes at the most on each side. I let him go until he pulls off himself. (Unless he's sleeping or just using me as a pacifier) He's a solid 11-12lbs but I'm just worried he's going to drop if he's not eating like he use to.
