helping Haiti
A person from from my town made a post on Facebook asking for advice on how to help Haiti. I began reading the replies in hopes I could get info as well to help out, but many people commented saying "America needs help too!"
"Help a homeless veteran!"
"Not being rude but seriously that's what's wrong w this country. We are quick to help other countries and forsake our own"
This really bothered me. Florida was very lucky that we haven't had any deaths. Yes there's a ton of damage but Haiti needs help too. They don't have the same reasources as us.. I want to help here and over there.
What's your opinion on this? Should we be helping our home first?
