Our Pediatrician said it was our preference. It's not tied super tight (6 on a scale of 1to 10) but my LO has trouble latching about 50% of the time. The last few nights have been a struggle. He gets so frustrated when he can't latch and I feel bad because It seems like he is starving. Our lactation consultant thinks it would really help but there is no way of knowing that in advance. Anyone struggling with this decision? Or has anyone had it done already? If so, did it help?
