L&D checkup cost?

If you were to go to the hospital to the L&D because you were worried about something and just wanted to get it checked out to ease your mind, how much do those visits cost? Was just thinking about that and wondered about costs and women who may need to go several times the last few weeks how much it costs to get checked out each time.

I have medicade so they pay for everything

You would have to call your insurance provider and see if those visits are covered... Usually they are once you get to the point where you're going into triage(not an office visit), but I would check with them.

My insurance completely covered the time I went in to L&D to be checked for an infection on a Sunday. (I was worried too about the cost too.) However, when I went to the ER at 13 weeks after a car accident, I still had to pay my $200 copay (even though the ER doc and my OB said I made the right call to go get checked).

Everything for my pregnancy is free because of my insurance. I even got a $350 breast pump set for free. I don't even have to pay for the breast milk storage bags.
