How long have you been away from your husband when visiting family?

When we lived in Minnesota the first time, I always flew to Texas to visit my family and would always stay 3-4 weeks every summer. He could never go because of not being offered vacation time and I didn't work at the time.

We always go together. If not, it'd be less than 3 days.

If I am visiting family, my husband goes with me... he's family too.

I have had to travel for work and my husband doesn't always go along. (Vegas and Puerto Rico, he needs to help me carry my bags, but when I went to Iowa and DC, he was conveniently busy...) I think the longest was 5-6 days, and it was before I was pregnant.

Both of us travel frequently, the longest we've been apart was 6-7 weeks, but for strictly a family visit, about 2 weeks.
