Homemade ice-cream!!!

I'm very excited for the ice cream maker attachment I got for my stand mixer for Christmas. I started looking for ice cream recipes but so many have eggs in them! Yes, the recipes with eggs are heated before freezing but I'm uncertain if the eggs are thoroughly cooked and safe to eat. Anyone else have experience with this? Or does anyone have a egg free french vanilla recipe? Thanks in advance ???
