honestly it's what you prefer, I know more boys prefer it cleanly shaved but he should respect your choice. 
if you decide to shave buy a men's razor (get like a Gillette one) bc they give you a closer shave. make sure you get shaving cream for sensitive skin bc the first time you shave you will get bumps. Before you shower trim the hair so that it's pretty short. Then in the shower make sure you exfoliate to get rid of all the dead skin. Use a lot of shaving cream and keep rinsing of the blades. Use warm water. I like to go over again with conditioner and shave the top again to make it smooth. Then pat dry and use aftershave or lotion!

I used to always shave, but it's honestly such a hassle. After getting razor burn and being forced to grow it back out I realized it really doesn't matter. If you're with a guy he should just be happy to be with you, I don't think one way or another should really matter. The guy I'm with couldn't care less. Our first time was super spontaneous and I definitely hadn't shaved but he couldn't care less. I will generally keep it trimmed and cleaned up if anything at all. But I agree with these other girls. Experiment with what you prefer and then stick with that!:)

I'm not gonna vote on that because #1 everyone reacts different to shaving #2 some people may like hair down there #3 you shouldn't shave just because sex make sure your comfortable with it. I can't go bald doe. There it's weird, but I trim really really low. Lol maybe Tmi. My husband doesn't mind.

I go full bald lol but then let it grow out sometimes and my husband doesn't mind either way but if you're just starting doing it, trim it and just tidy it up and then just experiment with what you like until you see a style you think you suit! Good luck!

Shave but not too much, just clean it up a bit Yano. You don't need to shave it all off just trim and shave bits so it's a bit neater. But it's your decision so choose whatever will make you more confident :)
