Nexplanon rod!! All the way! It's good for three years and doesn't hurt to get it put in, plus it's a very low chance you could get pregnant with the rod.

I use the patch and find it easy to use and less likely for human error as you change it on the same day every week!! Works great :)

It depends on the kind of person you are can you remember a pill everyday? They're are 80 different pills on the market. It's a great method. If not. How are you with shots? Do you mind getting one every three months and not having to worry in between? If needles are def a no go how about the patch or the ring. Again there is some remembering here. But not as much as the pill. There are also weight considerations with the patch so be sure to ask your doc. And there are long term methods that you can stop if/when you want to. IUD's with or without hormones. The implant that goes in your arm. These last years and don't need to be maintained. The bottom line is what works for one person may not work for another. You have to think about what will work for you in the long run. when you're in the heat of the moment you don't want to be thinking about your birth control.
