anyone just getting their period back for the first time?

Haven't had my period since December 14 it's been wonderful! Nervous that it's going to be horrible coming back and now scared more than ever to get pregnant again. I haven't been on birth control for 10 years!! Any advice ladies my little girl just turned one last month!!

I still breastfeed a lot. She wakes three to four times and is staying latched 3/4 the night. She nurses about every two to three hours 😅 yet here I am, having my actual period with a medium flow on day two. I'm surprised to be honest. The cramps and back ache isn't fun but not nearly as bad as it used to be so far. I'm sensitive and moody but not crazily so. It hasn't been as bad as I've feared. I've also heard the horror stories. I don't feel like talking much though aloud so I'm quiet but my toddler is taking it in stride.

Spotting over here tonight. I spotted one day in December. Haven't had an actual period since December 2014. It's confusing waiting to see if this is the actual return of my period or not. 🤔

I got mine when baby turned 6 months. I am still nursing her on demand 5x day more or less and maybe 3x at night (comfort nursing). I was a bit surprised to get my period so soon considering I nurse her so often. So far the periods have being regular except for a month back in July. I have stronger pms symptoms and ovulation pains. My midway says periods resumes after baby can stay without nursing for blocks of 6 hours. I hope this helps.

I got mine right after his first bday, but haven't had it since. Wondering when it will decide to come again lol I'm still nursing on demand which ends up being 4-6x a day typically?

I got my first one the week of my sons birthday! Still nursing at 13 months, I guess it was because I started slacking with my pumping at work. 😫

Does that mean you ladies stopped breastfeeding recently and that's why you got it back? I'm down to two feedings a day. I've gotten my period back but it's very irregular. Like every two months or so.
