natural birth pain??

I was set on getting the epidural but now I'm contemplating doing it natural, how much does it hurt on a scale of 1-10. Can you ladies please help

It all depend son how you really prepare yourself. I had a natural birth and I would rate it a 6-7. Not terrible, not excruciating, I wasn't screaming, I didn't think I was dying. I am planning another one in December. It was what my body was designed to do and I fully trust it's ability to do what it is supposed to do.

I've given birth 5 times natural/no drugs and I plan to deliver this baby the same way. I was able to feel exactly what I was supposed to do. I also never labored longer than 6hrs. I just remember to breathe; contractions can take your breath away and that causes your body to tense up making contractions 10times worse.

It was pretty much a 10. BUT the pain stops straight after and recovery is quick. I was at my mums having a cuppa 5 hours later and felt great with all the endorphins

It hurt a lot more than I thought it would. I got the epidural at 5 cm and it ended up wearing off at the end so I felt the birth. The contractions were worse than the birth for me but I was induced.

Preparation, baby's positioning, positioning during labor, and pelvic alignment have a lot to do with it. 1st VBAC was a 6 or 7, 2nd VBAC was 9, last VBAC was 9-10 because of baby's positioning.

Haha I guess cuppa is Australian for cup of tea 😂. And yes, if there's no complications my hospital lets you leave. I was only there for 6 hours or so all up. The midwife then visits your home each day for a week to check on you

Not gonna lie, it's a 20!!! That being said, I've done it both ways and I will NEVER have another epidural! The recovery after a natural birth is sooooo much easier!!!! I stopped bleeding 7 days after giving birth. With my first 2 kids(both epidural) it took over a month to stop bleeding and the pain pp was WAY worse. Honestly with my last birth I just had this annoying cramp in my leg every time my uterus contracted for about 4 days. I was pretty much back to normal after a week! Ibuprofen was all I took after 2 days! Good luck!
