D/C what should i expect?

Question

Today I would be 9 weeks
Unfortunately  nothing  grew  passed  6 weeks.
I have a scheduled  D/C tomorrow.
Not sure what to expect. 
Is it local anesthesia? 
I thought  i read the instructions correctly  and there  would be laughing  gas.

I had mine 10 days ago, I was absolutely terrified, it was at the hospital, general anesteshia, like real surgery! Let me tell you e everything went totally fine! I went to sleep and I woke up being wheeled to the recovery area, I had some cramps and a little bleeding. I only spotted light pink after that day. And I was physically great. You'll be fine hun❤ as of today I just got a positive opk and I will start trying again.

It's done differently by different doctors. I had mine exactly two weeks ago. I had general anesthesia to sleep through it and then fentanyl while in the recovery room. The worst part was fasting before having it done cause I was so hungry that I cried afterwards. I as pretty sore for the first day and night. They prescribed me a sedative to help me sleep for a week afterwards so I slept really great which definitely helped. I had sex too soon. They told me to wait two weeks for baths and sex but I only waited like 5 days and ended up in the hospital with heavy bleeding and huge clots and needed to take medication to start contractions to help get all the blood out quicker. But two weeks later and I ovulated already and I'm feeling great.

Mine was 6 years ago, and it was with anesthesia. I actually had 2 in the same day...(very long story). Anyways, mine was 2 weeks after my daughter was born and honestly, it was basically painless. I don't remember the ins and outs of postcare instructions and restrictions,  but I do know 100% I would have been fine with taking over the counter medicine for the pain. Good luck!!
