Custody?

Question

My bf and I are not married and I am pregnant with his child. Would I get primary custody of the baby if he took me to court? I don't do drugs or anything that would make me an unfit mother.

If you are not married you have 100% costody. Just as soon as the baby is born do not put his name on the birth certificate (don't freak I'll explain why) to avoid him later on when you nail him for child support saying I'm not the dad  make him do a DNA test and when it comes back that he is the dad on paper he can pay to get his name on there. From there file for child support. This buys you time to bond with baby and it avoids problems down the road! My sister did this and she has full custody of her daughter.

If he is your boyfriend why are you even worried about this. Enjoy your new family, don't think of what if.  Btw most likely he won't get full custody, unless your unfit. But he will get visitation, that depends on the court and what he wants to fight for

Why do you think he will take you to court? Are you still together?

More than likely he will at least get visitation. I live in Indiana and my friend has full custody but her daughters dad gets her a couple hours every Wednesday and on weekends.
