Understanding Jaundice

I'm not sure if this is in the correct group but my son was born with jaundice. He's 9 months now and I've noticed that when he gets too hot he turns yellow! He likes to sleep with his blanket so when that happens I take it off for a bit. Has this happened to anybody else? He has an appointment soon with his doctor and I'm going to mention it to her.
