If it's a girl and you have a boy or vise versa I say go for it. If it's the same gender just do a diaper party.

I'm on number 5 and I just love baby showers. No but honestly as my sister says it's not a party for you it's a party for the baby and your friends and family love them all the same so it makes sense to celebrate each. I sometimes forget that this baby isn't only mine it seems like when your pregnant, I originally told my sisters they could not throw a shower for my second then my dad pointed out that if someone wants to do something for you then you very graciously say Thank You and enjoy!

I think you should for sure have another shower if you want one, but not expect the same caliber of presents as the first time around.

I've had a shower for all my pregnancies. If someone offers to throw one for you, than why not?!

In my opinion it depends if they are the same sex and how far apart are they. If they are less than 2 years I wouldn't. I am on my second and it's a girl, my first was a boy. Before I found out what I was having I had told myself if it's another boy I wouldn't have another shower, when I already have my first boys clothes and other baby things.

I'm having a girl and my first was a boy. I also have spaced my children out 7 years apart and have no baby items that are usable for my daughter. I will have a small shower in December.
