How many times a day do u usually change a newborns clothing in a day?

How many times a day do u usually change a newborns clothing in a day? 
I'm starting on my hospital bag and want to know how many items I should take to the hospital for him to wear.

While my babies were in the hospital, I'd let them wear the shirts and blankets that the hospital provides. I have a newborn outfit and a 0-3 month outfit since I'm not sure what size she'll be. In my opinion, people overdo it. I just bring something for them to take pictures in and go home in. With my first child, he had A LOT of clothing so I changed his clothes 3 times a day so that he could wear everything, and I took pictures. Lol. That was once I got home though.

For the hospital bag? Id only pack a few. They dont do anything in the hospital.  Once your home and they start to eat more and become more interactive.....a lot. Lol.

Minimum of twice - one for the day and a chance before 'bed' in the evening,  I also plan for at least one additional change for spit up or poosplosions.  If you use dribble bibs or muslins when feeding to catch spit up etc it can really reduce the number of changes you need to do. If you don't use bibs or muslins I'd bank on two extra changes unless you're happy to leave a baby in damp clothing that smells of sour milk.

I have packed 6 outfits 4 newborn and 2 0to3 month outfits, 3 hats, 3 pair of socks.
