medical abortion vs surgical abortion

Has anyone had the surgical abortion or had both? I had the medical abortion and it was so awful for me so I was hoping that the surgical would be easier on my body than last time. If someone could give me a little walk through of how your personal or a friends was that would be great. Thanks in advance

*Edit* I'm pretty sure birth control isn't gonna help me at this point (I've already decided I'm going to start taking it after this because I'm not doing this again) and it's also definitely not what I asked about. And I also didn't post this for assumptions, I want facts and people's experiences not 'well this is probably what's going to happen'
