Any parents with different last names?
I kept my maiden name when my husband and I got married. It's been great until now... we don't know what to do for the baby. I know a lot of women give the baby the father's name in this case, but it doesn't feel like the right choice for us. Just wondering if anyone else has dealt with this and if so, how you dealt with it. We've talked about combining our last names and both of us changing, or using both names, sans hyphen. If anyone has a different last name than your child(ren) I'd also love to know if/how it affects you with insurance, schools, travel, etc. ...thanks!
