WARNING! NEGATIVE VIBES

Tina

I really hate it when people who don't know shit try to say that something BASED ON SCIENCE--evidence, facts--isnt right. That the doctors don't know what they're talking about. Just because something doesn't LOOK a certain way, doesn't mean that it isn't true.

If you have a couple pounds on your body and your doctor tells you that you are obese, do not compare yourself to what you see in the mainstream. Just because you aren't as big as the extremely obese people, does NOT mean that you are not obese. Own it. Don't shy away from what you are. The only difference it really makes is that it motivates you to lose weight even more! To get healthier! My mother isn't as big as mainstream obese people, but is nonetheless obese, because that is what her doctor said. She has the risk of becoming diabetic just like any bigger obese person does. So don't listen to what ordinary people have to say about what you're going through if they are trying to "cheer" you up with false information. Now if they are attempting to motivate you in a way that doesn't involve them diagnosing you, that's great. I'm all for that.
