labor????

So I am 36+2 now. I was in L&D yesterday with contractions 4 minutes apart. I'm dilated to 3 but stuck there after more than 3 hours of them timing and checking my cervix. Today I've had terrible indigestion, nausea, and now diarrhea (sorry for tmi). This is totally different than my last delivery. Am I getting close??? Has this happened to anyone else? I realize I'm early still, mymidwofe however did say that the baby is healthy enough and they wouldn't stop my labor if it came along full steam and she wouldn't be surprised to see me soon. I just feel terrible. Anyone else have this??? My last delivery was 37 hours of labor with many medical interventions to help it along. I pray I'm not in for the same fate again. :(
