Is it possible to get rid of a UTI without antibiotics?

I have the otc AZO pain relief pills and I'm drinking a lot of water all day. I felt one coming on yesterday and I don't want to go to the doctor again. I'm not pregnant, I just had one last month and the last one before that was over a year ago and it turned into a kidney infection because I had never had one and didn't know what it was.

Is it possible to flush it out with water? Or should I go to the doctor.

Once you get a uti you have to get antibiotics to get rid of the infection. Before it gets worse and causes other issues. I've had so many uti's and each time I had to get antibiotics. I stopped getting them when I started making sure I use the restroom right after sex.

I'm very prone to uti, I've gotten them almost constantly since I was 18. It is very possible to get rid of it if you cut sugar, drink tons of water and take meds. I've done it plenty of times. It depends on how severe it is. If it gets worse you need to go to a doctor though.

Drink lots of cranberry juice ( the real stuff that has no added sugar) any tea with rose hips in it is good as well.. And tons of water with lemon juice in it

Yah. Drink gull cranberry juice. As soon as I feel one I drink just cranberry juice and it's fine. I've gotten them for years now, ever since I was 7 months old, I'm now 27 and I haven't gotten one in 3yrs when I stopped wearing underwear haha.

I get 2-3 utis a month on occasion and sometimes I can drink slot of water and cranberry juice to flush it out and other times it doesn't help and I get antibiotics

I drank a gallon of water and it didn't help. It's best to catch it early and just use antibiotics before it gets worse

Once I had a UTI I never got symptoms so because I let it go it turned into a kidney infection. You need antibiotics!

Sometimes you can sometimes you can't flush it out. I say just go to the Dr don't risk it getting worse, but if you really don't want to go and your still not in pain then just take the Azo pills and drink a lot of water for a day or two and see if it's getting better. If it feels worse just go to the Dr. Good luck hope it clears up on its own!

You need to go to the doctor. There's no way to know if you will get all of the infection out and it could turn into another kidney infection
