From the husband's perspective, who should come first? Mother or wife? Explain your reasons.

As a Christian I use the Bible to answer this question. It says in Ephesians 5:31 
For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.

The wife. It doesn't mean the wife is more important than the mother, it just means that you took vows to put your wife before all others. Your wife (and the children) are immediate family once you are married. Your mother becomes extended family once you are married. Your priority should be your immediate family.

Once your married to your man you become one with him :) you are no longer your own, your one with the love of your life. You decided that that is who you want to spend the rest of your life with. So id say wife.

Once you're married the wife comes first. She's who you are making a life with. My husband and I have talked about this and agrees 1,000% 
Same goes for me. My husband comes before anyone else in the world.

It may seem harsh but the wife comes "first". The mother is absolutely important and should be treated no different in regards to wife and mother. The wife is now living with him and is immediate family now. If you have kids it's the husband and wife's responsibility to care for his immediate family first. If certain situations come up then yes take care of your mother, include her in your life. She was the one that took care of your husband first and made him who he is today.

You make a vow to be there for your spouse. At no point does that vow say "Except for my mom. You're important, but not as important as she is." That's not ok.

I've always disliked this question, because it pits wife vs mother against each other in competition. I've always viewed the roles as so completely different that they don't conflict with each other at all. It probably helps that my mil is a wonderful person whom I love, but still; my love for my mother is so different from my love for my husband- that doesn't put one above the other. 
I think it's also important to note that every man I dated who had a bad relationship with his mother had deep seated issues with women. If you're feeling that your partner loves his mother too much you might be taking a lot for granted.

Our family is Christian, so we believe in bible. Bible says that God always comes first and your wife/husband second,  or your parents, because when people get married, they come apart from their parents and become one with their spouse. And this is how I want my kids to treat their spouses too
