Today I had my first pelvic exam (I'm 21 and have never had a Pap smear) at the hospital today and had no clue what to expect. I never have gone to a gynocologist because I'm a virgin and never saw the need to. When they put the cold jelly stuff on me and tried putting the clamp thing in it hurt really badly and they basically decided not to do it because I was clearly in pain. Now I'm not sure what to do about going to a gynocologist because I have been having cycle irregularity and bad cramps but if they can't do a proper exam idk how they'll be able to help.
