How long did you wait to have kids after being married? Why?

I'm 26 weeks pregnant tomorrow and we're getting legally married on Saturday. We're having a destination wedding in Sonoma next October. We're doing things backwards.

My love and I have been together for nine years. We wanted to make sure we got our wild oats sowed before settling down. Thank goodness we did lol. There's been some serious growing up, breaking up, making up, and gypsy living going on. Its been great, but not the environment we wanted to have children in. Within the next year we will get married and we've already told the whole family that as soon as the wedding bells ring, we're trying for a family. ❤💗❤💗

About year and a half? We wanted to start trying right when we got married but he was getting ready to deploy. Then he deployed for a year. Once he got back, we started trying. 10 months so far 😬👎🏻

Had our 6 year anniversary on monday. Would love to have a little one but it isn't financially in the books just yet. Our time will come!
