blood type? RH Negative blood donate?

My grandma is in the hospital with ulcers and needs a donation and it turns out she is O negative blood type, I'm assuming since I am RH negative that makes me also O negative? Can I donate to her ?

If you're the same blood type you can.

She can only accept your blood if its O-. RH negative does not automatically mean you're O-. Unless you already know you're an O blood type

Abo grouping is different than rh grouping.  However if you are definitely O- yes, you can donate. O can donate to any,  ab can take from anyone. 
They'll probably test you prior to giving to her to be positive is ok,or at least they should.
