how common is the name "Ella"!?

I don't want my baby to have a common name, but I fell in love with this name. I don't want her to feel like every other girl has her name like "Sophia" or "Emma" will years from now.

I don't know very many Ella's. it's decently common, but very pretty and not so common that she'll have like 3 kids in her class with the name.

It's not uncommon in my opinion, but it isn't common like Sarah/Rachel is. Maybe you could name her something like Elena or Eleanor and call her Ella since those names aren't typical. Either way I think the name is very pretty

Having worked at a school I didn't see the name very often. I do know 1 Ella who isn't school age yet. I think it has become more common in the past couple of years
