Haven't breastfed my baby in 7 months, can this stop me from getting pregnant?

Do you think I am unable to get pregnant because my body is still producing breast milk? I need to explain...I haven't breastfed my first baby for 7 months.  But milk still comes out of my breasts every once in awhile. Enough for my husband to taste milk when we are messing around. I also haven't had a period in 2 months and have had 4 negative hpt.

Breastfeeding suppresses ovulation due to a hormone release with the baby latching. No nursing, no hormone release, no suppressed ovulation. Even while breastfeeding you can get pregnant. It's not a solid birth control plan.

I didn't have a period for 2years once my baby was born I was feeding him up until February this year I wasn't using any contraception from when I had him I was breast feeding him I wanted to get pregnant again so I went to the doctors and got some tablets to stop my milk took them for 2weeks had a period and fell pregnant 😬 good luck!
