Our beautiful baby boy born at 37 weeks 💙
I had gestational hypertension and developed preeclampsia around my 34th week of pregnancy which forced me to an early deliver at 37 weeks as I was also on blood pressure medication. I had a c section yesterday because he was breech
He's in the NICU now for monitoring and to make sure he keeps up with his breathing because apparently at birth he was trying too hard to breath and needed to be assisted. It was tough to have my baby whisked away without me being able to hold him, but thankfully my husband visited him in the NICU multiple times per day yesterday, and after I was feeling better, they let me visit him also :) We were so happy to be able to hold our baby too!
He's doing very well and hopefully will be taken off monitors and brought to us sometime today... Crossing our fingers!! We watch him through the hospital's NICU cameras and he's so content, very alert while not asleep, and barely criesÂ
He's perfect 💙
