HIS insecurities,  are in fact his insecurities.  Does he have any reason to have them ? (Flirty texts)   Also if this is going to be a long term relationship,  this is something that you have  to address  now. Are u willing to argue  every time you speak to the  person your s/o doesnt like??  Because  thats not healthy.  IMO,  for your own sanity  you'd  have to choose which is important to you.

His insecurities are his personal problem to deal with. He will not damage my relationship with other people because he has a problem. I would support and reassure him as much as possible, but I would not let him control who I can talk to.
