How many times do you burp your baby while nursing?

I'm a FTM and my daughter is almost 4 weeks and is a loooong nurser. She sucks basically the whole time, but will sometimes nurse up to 45 minutes. My mom and aunt suggested I burp her every 10 minutes, however I sometimes find she's so worked up from still needing to nurse that she won't let one go. She swallows them back down. Sometimes she does burp fine. Just wondering what other moms are doing!

My LO will get fussy or pull away from my nipple when she needs to burp. I just look for the signs that's she's feeling uncomfortable.

I bump him twice for a 125 ml bottle or when I change sides to nurse him on, every 10-15 min I think

I usually only burp after a feeding. The only time I burp mid-feeding is if my son is showing signs that he needs to burp (pulling nipple, fussing while trying to latch, etc.)

Let what go? Your nipple? If so you put your finger inbetween your nipple and her mouth and that breaks the latch. My LC told me to do that if my baby was latched on wrong.

I only nurse for about 10-15 minutes so I try and burp her after. Sometimes she doesn't want to though. When we use a bottle we do it after every oz or sometimes halfway. She drinks 3oz
