How difficult was breastfeeding for you in the beginning?

I have flat nipples so my daughter and I had a hell of a time adjusting to breast feeding. For the first 3 weeks or so it hurt so bad that I would have to distract myself from it by watching TV or having my husband talk to me because I was in agony! 
Now at just over 2 months we're pretty used to it! It doesn't hurt at all!

By day 5 my nipples were already used to it with all the cluster feeding my baby did! I'd say looking back it really wasn't bad. Just a little mild/uncomfortable pain but I made sure I applied nipple balm from honest company after every feeding and I air dried my nipples after every feeding too.

First two weeks had me in tears glad I stuck thru it, 3 months strong 💪🏼 it gets better

It hurt like hell but we never had any problems. He latched and ate great from day 1
