Mmm abnormal bleeding ?

Sooo I recently had sex with my old partner  prior to this I hadn't had sex for a month since my last period. My period was due in four or so days so I was good. We started to have sex and when he went it I was okay went a little deeper it hurt for a quick second. I though he just went to deep because it's happened before with me when it hurts if he goes to deep becauE I'm small. But then a few moments later we look down and his penis was covered in blood, bright red but there were no clumps as if I was on my period. At the time I thought oh my period just came early. But afterwords I wasn't bleeding I notice later after I showered. I thought it'd come the next day so I waited for the next day and day after and so on. But no bleeding and no spotting. So girls a little help here. Idk what happened :( I looked up some reason and it said I could have an std but I don't have the signs so could this be cancer? I'm nervous E and not seeing my lady dr till next month :(
