Can this mean something?

When we first heard the heartbeat a couple of days ago it was so strong. It took her 10 seconds to find it with a doppler and i was 9w4d. Could it mean its a boy or a girl? I keep getting told a boy. I loved that moment but it was so strong and we didn't even to an ultrasound to see where he/she was located.

They would know if it was in the wrong place when they heard it with the Doppler. You should be good :) that's awesome you could hear it so early! They couldn't hear mine at that point, but I have a tilted uterus. I ended up doing an elective ultrasound to ease my mind and heard the heartbeat that way. I don't think it is very indicative of gender, but it's fun to try to guess! They say boy heart rates are lower (under 140) and girl is higher (above 140), but I don't think there is much truth to it. It worked with my daughter (she was always 160-170), but this baby ranged so much. It was 135 at 7 weeks and 170 at 10.

You should be more worried that the baby is healthy. The sex of the baby shouldn't matter.
