Period cramps? Is labor coming?

I will be 37 weeks tomorrow and for the last couple mornings I have been woken up by cramps like I'm about to get my period. They come and go kind of like contractions for a couple hours then go away for the day. I have yet to lose my mucus plug and Idk if I'm dilated at all. Also I don't think baby 'dropped' .. I do feel him pretty low and have quite a bit of pressure but my belly still looks high.

Does this mean I'll go into labor soon?

Cramping is just your body's way of getting ready! You're so close!

But seriously, your body is getting it's practice on. It's a waiting game now. I hate this part myself but what can you do?

My mom friends have told me that's like Braxton hicks and you will definitely know when you're in labor.

I've had those too (@ 35 weeks) and my doctor said if there isn't any bleeding or water breaking then its usually just our body getting ready :) its close though!!!

Not necessarily.  I've been having contractions off and on for 4 weeks.  It's normal at the end of pregnancy.
