Name issues! plz help

So I'm having a problem here. It may not even be a big deal but I wanted to get some of your guys' opinions.

My dad passed away about 5 years ago and his name is Daniel. And I thought I should definitely use my dads name in my sons name. However, I have dated 3 Daniels (ALL ex boyfriends) and I really don't like the idea of me being reminded of my exs every time I say my baby's name. No one even called my dad Daniel. They always called him Dan. I don't want to use his middle name either because it's Edward and that's not really appealing to me.

UGH please help!!!!!
