Anyone out there skipped provera and started Clomid or Femara?

I'm wanting to skip the provera stage and just start taking Femera. Anyone have success with this?

I didn't skip provera. It just didn't work on me, I haven't had a period since February so my gyno told me to just go ahead and start clomid which I did and IT WORKED!!! I got a positive ovulation test Tuesday and am now in my TWW to see if I either get pregnant or start my period.

I wouldn't skip it! Having a period is important. You need your uterine lining to be in prime condition for pregnancy. You don't want thick lining. Wait for a period and then start, or if you don't have them on your own, I would say yes, try the Provera. I'm impatient too but of course we want our bodies to be ready for baby :) And if you have your cycles lined up, it's very helpful for tracking. All over the place cycles can make things difficult.

I really wouldn't skip the Provera if that's what you have been prescribed. I felt this way too but it really helps! Once your Provera is down and your period has arrived you can get on that Clomid :)

Why do yo want to skip the provera? Do you have regular periods?

Mainly just being impatient, which is a horrible reason. I have irregular periods. It'll be my 2nd round of Femara.
