Back pain and cramping

Since last night I've been having back pain that wont go away along with what feels like bad period cramps. It goes all the way into my thighs. No matter how I sit/ lay it will not ease up. Is this just normal pregnancy things or could it be something else? I'm 34 weeks 5 days
