Bar Night! But Breastfeeding?

Starting back to work next week so I'm going out with the SO and friends. Woo hoo! I'm still breastfeeding though and I can't really find after so long can I continue breastfeeding. No this is not suppose to be just a couple drinks first and last time I'll be able to go out for a while so I want to make it count. Suggestions?

Pumping and dumping does not get the alcohol out of your bloodstream. The only reason you should pump is to relieve yourself until you are completely sober again.

This is a legitimate question. I dont drink and never have. I just dont see the appeal in it. I have tons of fun without drinking. It's expensive and leaves you feeling horrible when you have too much and it impairs your judgement. So why do people do it, why is it necessary for you to have a good time? I'm just really curious.

If you're going for a couple of drinks 2 should be the max for you but if you're planning to get hammered pump and test the milk with alcohol test strips before dumping.

Well the night was fun I didn't get sloshed I just didn't know what the night would of brought I wanted to prepare for the higher end of things even if I didn't get that way I had about 6 drinks which by the chart someone posted I ended up being way fine by the time I went to pick LO up from his Nana's. I pumped to keep my supply up but I intend on saving it to put in his bath water because I read that is good for his skin. And now back to the salt mines of work and motherhood :-).
