evening primrose oil

Well, I am 37w 3d today and am dying to get my son out of me! On Tuesday, I had my weekly observation with my midwife and was only 1/2 cm dilated and wasn't effaced....my cervix was just soft 😩😩 I have been in so much pain that I have finally decided to try evening primrose oil capsules to help thin my cervix out faster. Praying it works. My SO inserted the capsules vaginally for the first time tonight! He's the best, haha! Has anyone else tried or used the EPO? How did it work for you?
