Late Period Education

So I remember when I was 12, and my first period had showed up. I didn't know anything, just to put a pad down there and hope for the best. Then my dad's girlfriend at the time gave me a book, and boy, I was mad that I wasn't taught about my own body sooner also disappointed. Anyways, how's about we all share where we learnt about our own body? (If it's not to weird)
