Desperately need advice! If you have the time to read this and give me your opinion please do!

I'm sorry I don't use this app very much so I don't know the abbreviations.Thank you in advance for taking the time to read this. I've become very paranoid that there's something wrong. I have an appointment to see my doctor in a month but I am dying for some insight and wisdom from the lovely women on Glow! I'll try to make this as least confusing as possible. Okay, so I always had long, heavy periods. Like really heavy. I bled through clothes during my school years so many times I've lost count! Including having every possible symptoms to the MAX. For this reason and others I had the implant birth control put in my arm for three years, during which I didn't have any periods (and LOVED it) until towards the very end. After I got it removed (mid Jan 2015) my periods were off wack for a few months but my body went back into a regular routine. They weren't as heavy as before the birth control but I still had a pretty decent flow and standard symptoms along with it. Like many women I could usually tell when I was about to start because some symptoms would begin. Fast forward to now. My periods have been pretty much (or at least in comparison) NON EXISTENT for the past 4 months or so. I'm exaggerating but they only last an average of 2-4 days and I mostly just spot the entire time.. Like literally just enough blood to need a tampon or pad. On top of that I don't get any symptoms besides the occasional cravings or cramps but again it feels like nothing compared to what I'm used to my body going through.

So my questions are what you probably expect. First, is this normal? Could it be that my body is just changing and this is common? Or a sign that there's something wrkr?
