How old do you ladies think it's ok to get baby a jumper? Or walker? My LO is almost 2 months and loves to try to stand when I pick him up he stiffens his legs and tries to climb on me and he also loves to kick up a storm when he's laying down..

My little guy is 8 weeks today and has been in his bouncer for a solid month. He can't reach the bottom so we put a box under him for him to stand on. He's had great neck strength from day 1, and he LOVES to try to stand. When I'm feeding him, if he starts fussing, I'll pick him up and have him stand on my stomach and he will push himself up, and he really calms himself down for some reason. I'd say that if your LO likes to stand and has good neck strength, it's not too early for something like a bouncer. And FYI, the bouncer we bought didn't say the minimum age anywhere on the package or online that I could find (and I really searched!), which I found really odd.

If his head is pretty strong you could use it now. Just shove some blankets around him so he doesn't wobble too much. My son turns two months this weekend and I'm going to put together his bouncer. He loves looking around and I know he will enjoy it.

The recommended age is usually on the box when you look at them in the store. The exercauser type we have says not until she can sit unassisted. But I use a bumbo fo my daughter because she loves sitting up and I just bounce her standing up in my lap (for what feels like the whole day) because she's too small for any of them. Except tummy time lol she still gets mad at that after about 5-7 mins. She's 11wks old and I can't wait to put her in the play thing so I can get stuff done around the house easier.
