PCOS and Mirena?

Question

Does anyone have the Mirena and PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome)? I've been diagnosed and started meds recently. But I've also been having issues with cramping and bleeding with the mirena (which I've had for 8 months). I just wanted to see how other people are dealing with it?

I just started the marina sept 26. Since I started as having bad pains. My cramps come n go they get worst. I been having my periods since oct 1st it hasn't stop

that good. I have a heavy flow. I lost my ovary due to a cyst after my surgery they found another cyst put that explode it was painful. Good to know that the mirena works, I was told that some times that the Mirena works on some people. Thanks for the advice

I was given the Mirena November 2015 after being diagnosed with PCOS, it's been amazing. Four months after, my cysts had gone and I've even managed to start loosing weight, I never expected such a fantastic result. The first month of the coil was incredibly painful as my body adjusted but it's been so worth it. I also have endometriosis so I haven't noticed too much change with cramps but my flow is drastically lighter and I have a normal cycle now too
