Discuss if you get pregnant

Am I the only one who sits down with their S.O every 6 months to discuss what we would do if we got pregnant? At 19 I told him that we would put the baby up for adoption and I never would abort. At 22 we are getting married a few years earlier than we have planned because we've agreed their are worse things than marrying the love of your life early. I couldn't have sex if I didn't know I had a plan. Is this nuts that we do this?
